Should more resources be spent on space exploration/research or should we stay focused on issues at home?
I don't really feel to strongly about this, although I do fall on the side of continuing to finance space based endeavours. I mainly want to know what other peoples opinions on it are as I find myself struggling to justify a decision to cease any space research/exploration on the basis of vague or ambiguous assertion of "we have enough problems here" or "we should be focusing on our own planet" because I have doubts that we can't focus on multiple things at the same time as a species.
